Finishing First uses a large variety of technologies, and your particular technologies will be based on the business needs of your site, what functions the site serves and what servers you currently use or ISP (Internet Service Provider) you will be using to host your site. Part of our development process is assisting you in choosing the correct technologies and considering the future expansions you might need.

- ASP/ASP.net
- Microsoft Active Server Page, a server-side scripting technology/language that can be used with HTML to create dynamic and interactive Web applications. ASP.net, Microsoft's new web technology.
- CFML
- Cold Fusion Markup Language, a server-side scripting technology/language that can be used with HTML to create dynamic and interactive Web applications.
- HTML/XHTML
- HyperText Markup Language that is the basis for web page presentment. Extensible Hypertext Markup Language is an extended combination of HTML and XML and the latest technology for writing web sites.
- CSS, XSL
- Stylesheet and Extensible Stylesheet language for enhancing HTML and XML with fonts, colors and other styles.
- Java
- Programming Language developed by SUN and on the web is interacted with through .jsp, .html and .jhtml web pages.
- JSP/JHTML
- Java Server Pages, a specification technology/language that can be used with HTML to create dynamic and interactive Web applications. Can be used in conjunction with the "middleware" ATG Dynamo for processing the application request and interacting with Database/Backend Java.
- XML
- Extensible Markup Language, a data format specification used to exchange and interpret data between different applications.

- Web Accessibility Initiative - the basis behind the section 508 accessibility laws for users with disabilities
- WAP
- Wireless Application Protocol designed for handheld wireless devices
